  • Ad Concepts.

    As a creative, sometimes the idea you like the most doesn’t make the cut. I like to show these outtakes from the AICPA Foundation and Benevolent Fund awareness campaign because of how they came to be. The Foundation’s goal is to advance the science of accountancy and accounting education, while The Benevolent Fund helps members through temporary periods of financial difficulty. My writing partner and I were challenged with developing a variety of concepts, so we decided to get out of the office and kick some ideas around over lunch. The TV in the restaurant at which we ate happened to be playing a music channel with videos. U2 came on, and I said, “Is there a way we could make a pop culture reference to what these areas do?” So we did with Brad and Oprah.
